As an accomplished creative leader in the field of Design and UX with over 15 years experience, I have designed and delivered highly engaging large-scale, experiences for media, entertainment and editorial brands including Sundance, MTV Networks, Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, iHeartRadio and The Huffington Post.
Currently, I am a Principal UX Designer with Service Now — a part of the Solution Innovation team. We are a global group of architects, designers, and developers specialized in driving innovative business solutions for customers by extending and leveraging the Now Platform through human-centered design techniques.
Previously, I was helping design the next generation digital banking experience for JPMorgan Chase. As Executive Director, I lead digital Design & UX from our San Francisco Studio before being asked to serve as Chief Creative Officer for the consumer bank. Before my move to the west coast, I lead the User Experience & Design team for The Huffington Post across all platforms. This has been a remarkable and rewarding time dedicating my energy and creativity to redesigning our mobile website, flagship news apps for iOS & Android along with the launch of HuffPost Live and Huffington magazine for iPad. The hard work paid off and the industry acknowledged these efforts with Awards from the Webbys and SPD.
Prior to HuffPost, I was the Vice President/Creative Director for Clear Channel Radio Digital, the Digital Division of the nation’s largest radio company. One of my proudest achievements at Clear Channel was contributing to the creation of iHeartRadio — the innovative, easy to use digital platform for terrestrial radio conversion. I oversaw the concept development, prototyping, user experience design, and visual design for multiple platforms, encompassing web, mobile, tablet and TV. When not leading the multi-platform digital network supporting 750+ radio stations, I was the producers of live shows and music videos for artists like Mariah Carey, Usher, Mumford & Sons, Weezer, Alicia Keys, 50 Cent, Bon Jovi, and Lady Gaga.
While Creative Director of Billboard, I led the design for all editorial, digital, video, marketing, events, and licensing for the brand. During my time at Billboard we won the SPD Award for the redesign of two sister publications, The Hollywood Reporter and R&R.
I began my career art directing projects for clients like the Sundance Film Festival, Smithsonian, PC World, Nick Jr. and MTV at Don Morris Design.
Recently, I was honored to serve as the President of Board of Directors for The Society of Publication Designers where I created SPD's first iPad apps that led to a new revenue stream for this non-profit organization. A survivor of four snowy winters in Rochester, I am a graduate of RIT, College of Imaging Arts & Sciences where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.
